Job Description

We are currently recruiting multiple Project Engineers with a civil or electrical background to work on exciting power projects across NSW and VIC.

Zinfra are looking for motivated Project Engineers who are keen to enhance their career and eventually move into Project Management roles with us. Whether you have a couple of years under your belt or are a well-seasoned Engineer, we would love to hear from you.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain engineering plans and schedules ensuring engineering and design completion on time and within budgets i.e. within contractual and technical requirements
  • Monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs
  • Provide a safe and secure workplace for all employees by actively working with staff to achieve the safety policies of Zinfra and the policies of our clients
  • Provide technical support to the project team ensuring compliance with technical specifications, legislation, approvals and standards.
  • Determine construction methods, materials and quality standards, and drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures
  • Organising and directing site labour and delivery of construction materials, plant and equipment, and establishing detailed programs for coordination of site activities
  • Develop efficient communication between various project groups, as well as internal and external stakeholders

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Engineering degree in relevant field (electrical or civil)
  • Understand on site safety, quality and project budget
  • Experience creating daily quality checks (ITP’s and ITC’s)
  • Have managing internal and external resources to achieve required productivities
  • Experience working on power, substation, distribution and transmission infrastructure projects highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to interact with the client on behalf of Zinfra



Please note: you must possess a current Australian driver’s licence and white card as travel between sites will be required.
