Job Description

Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager for a leading electrical contractor client of ours.

The ideal candidate will have major infrastructure experience

This role will lead to fantastic career progression and a strategic role within the business.

Job Description

Prepare materials & equipment for site works

Review specifications and drawings prior to site works

Communicate labour resource requirements with Director

Communicate to team individual tasks and ensure all team members are

clear about requirements

Ensure cutovers and possession works are executed and finalised


Assist team with fault finding and problem solving

Motivate and inspire team

Maintains our company culture as documented in our culture paper


Ensure works are executed in a workmanship like manner and to the

highest level of quality

Maintain appropriate documentation, in accordance with company and

legislative requirements e.g. SWMS

Ensure all work is performed safely (including equipment and tools used)

in compliance with company and legislative requirements

Provide appropriate controls for material and physical security on site

Implement and maintain appropriate environmental controls


Demonstrated commitment to company values

Meeting or exceeding pre-determined targets and standards of:

Job safety (nil injuries or compliance breaches)

Job timeliness (on schedule and with customers’ requirements)

Job quality (Consistent with specification/design and company)

Job Budget (Consistent with Estimate)

Key Experience needed


Relevant Trade qualifications - Electrical or Data licences

Construction Industry Induction Card

Rail Safety Induction Card / RIW

Ability to lead a team

Good written and verbal communication skills

Good computer skills including project planning (Microsoft Project)

Excellent communication skills with customers & Co-workers

Drivers licence

Knowledge of data &/or electrical principals

Knowledge of and commitment to OHS&E policies and procedures

Read technical plans


Project Management Certification

Design of Comms & Electrical Installation
