About the role:
You’ll be based in our busy Kalgoorlie branch where the focus is on our industry leading On-Highway, Power Generation engines and products. Our Power Generation division has grown significantly and we’re seeking an Electrical Technician to carry out service and repair on power generators and support the field service in heavy diesel mechanic duties. You will also;

  • Ideally, you’ll be split 50%on power generator and 50% on heavy diesel duties
  • Conducting preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repair of electrical equipment and heavy diesel equipment
  • Identify opportunities aimed towards equipment uptime and reliability resulting in increased customer satisfaction
  • Frontline promotion of Cummins products and services
  • Schedule, prevent and breakdown maintenance tasks

If you have some of the following, we'd love to hear from you:

  • Current ‘A’ Grade Electrical License Accreditation
  • A current, valid driver’s license
  • Previous experience with Power Generation installations, repairs or preventative service maintenance is advantageous
  • Understanding of Power Generation control systems (including PLC and relay logic)
  • Relevant trade qualification (Light Auto or Heavy Duty)
  • Previous heavy diesel engine experience is advantageous
