The Role:

The Field Service Technician role is responsible for servicing clients, predominantly based from Mulgrave focusing on technical support of hardware, system evaluation services, field services, maintenance contracts, implementation services, hardware training and supply quality (technically related).

I am seeking a graduate to embark on a career changing role!!!.

Responsibilities:

  • Improve  customers' satisfaction Level
  • Provide top tier customer support (ability to log calls on ORACLE, work to strict time lines, and be extremely outcomes focused)
  • Be solutions focused (Ensure an advanced level of problem solving is available at all times)
  • Inventory Control - ensuring the register for spare parts is updated, allowing for timeframes/delays for parts coming from oversea's.
  • Enhance parts and supplies sales by providing technical support and quality feedback.
  • To provide direct service (troubleshooting, installation, servicing, maintenance) to direct customer (in case of Orleans products).

 
Key Attributes for the role inculde:

  • Strong Communication skills - both written and verbal 
  • Customer Focused 
  • Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering
  • Computer skills and experience - (MS Word 2007 & 2010 Advanced and SQL - Intermediate)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Be willing to develop a high degree of product knowledge.
  • Have the ability to work both independently on own initiative and as part of a team.
