Job Description

Parking Meter Technician

APARC (Australian Parking and Revenue Control) is a leading provider of parking solutions and our core business is the supply, installation, and maintenance of the worlds most advanced ticket parking machines.  

APARC is seeking a parking meter technician to join our Sydney operations team.

It is desirable that this person will come from an electronic/electrical service background, however on the job training will be provided.

Experience in diagnosing faults is a must; as is the ability to prioritise your workload.

The role is largely autonomous and is based in Haberfield NSW.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • From an electrical/electronic service background
  • Punctual and reliable,
  • Able to work largely unsupervised and as part of a team,
  • Experienced in field service, 
  • Willing to adopt a "hands on" approach with a "can do" attitude,
  • Able to take pride in their work
  • An appropriate level of physical fitness, this role requires extensive driving and outdoor work,
  • A flexible approach to days and hours of work, overtime is available,
  • Basic computer and email skills,
  • A current driver’s licence.
